Our Snow Day...

We woke up today to a very nice surprise. It is the most snow we have gotten this year. The kids loved it. As you can tell from the pictures. Ezekiel and Levi both figured out how to eat the snow. Ezekiel liked to catch the flakes on his tongue and Levi liked to go head first into the snow. It was on purpose too. He would put his whole face in the snow and then take a huge bite of snow. Whatever works.

I made Adelaide a chair out of snow so she could play... more just to give me a break. She loved it too. Levi loved playing with her. Ezekiel saw her and thought that she was stuck.... so he unstuck her. He pulled her right out of the snow seat and face first into the snow. She laughed about it. She was such a good sport. Oh... and the picture on the bottom is Levi throwing snow at her. Wher do I get these kids. She is so happy. She is happy a lot. I love my kids.

gurggle...gurggle....

do you know what a phone sounds like being submerged into a bubble bath? I do now. Ezekiel was in the bath, you know what is coming, I'm sure. I had to run and get a diaper in the other room. My brother Todd called and I picked it up. Ezekiel picked up the phone that I left in the bathroom. He was talking... and then there was this fuzzy... kinda ocean like. I kinda had a feeling, how could you not. I ran into the bathroom. Ezekiel was talking into the phone and it was fully submerged. Yeah. I grabbed the phone and there was water coming out everywhere... I took it apart and an hour later... it started working again. wow. Our Uniden phones rock!
By the way this is the third phone that boy has submerged. Only one didn't work afterwards. That is pretty lucky.

On a Cold Day...

Choose the right everyone. Ezekiel got his first CTR ring in sunbeams. I remember when you had to be in CTR's for that. It actually has been working quite well. He goes around singing "choose the right." It makes choices, like am I going to listen to mommy, a little easier. Thank goodness.

Adelaide doing a pushup. She is getting pretty good at it. I think we will have a roll soon. she wobbles back and forth a bit. No big movements one way or the other.

This is her sitting up. She mostly uses her arms. She gives it a good try. We usually do this on the couch, and she usually falls over easily. On the hard surface she was like a pro. If you could be a pro for sitting up? She is a cutie.....

and drooling didn't even break her concentration.

A warm February

It was 60 degrees yesterday... see. Isn't that crazy. February in New England. The kids really liked it. I loved putting my flip flops on. That was a good thing. We played outside a lot.

Levi wearing Steve's size 13 slippers. They are huge and he wore them for about 15 or more minutes, till it was bedtime. Right now he is very interested in shoes. He goes around the house saying "a Shooowe," which is a shoe. He rearranges all the shoes and brings them to different rooms in the house. It usually takes a few minutes to find everyone's shoes when we leave the house, thanks to Levi.

Birthday... and the JUMPER

The concentration in this picture is amazing. Notice it is the 28 year old that has to stick out her tongue to open this present, not the 3 year old.

Adelaide's first experience in the jumper. She did pretty well. The boys were drawn to it and it soon became a swing, a game of pushing Adelaide back and forth between the two. It was cute. I need to keep my eyes on them... to make sure the pushes doen't get too big. That is the last thing that we need, a flying Adelaide.

28 years...and counting

It was my birthday yesterday. 28, yay me! We had a low key birthday with Steve's Fam and Corby. It was a good time. Steve cooked with the help of Corby. It was really good. I was happy to not be making dinner.
We are going up to Vermont on Friday to spend some time with the fam. I'm excited. Hopefully ther will be snow. I really want to play in the snow.
I mean, with the kids in the the snow.....that too, but I just like playing in the snow.:) It is good times being pulled in a sled behind a four wheeler or snowmobile. Good times!

It is funny to think of some of the birthdays I've had... that was fun. I'm glad we celebrate a birth week here in the Francia household. I think it is a great idea. I do like to celebrate.
