The hazards of potty training....

We have had lots of incidents when it has come to potty training. This one made me laugh quite a bit though.
Levi was standing in the corner of the room looking suspicious, very straight . I asked him if he needed to go poop and he said " Yes." That is a huge thing! I have yet to catch him before he needed to go poop. I told him to hurry and run. He ran ran right to the toilet and fell in hands first up to his elbows. He was a bit surprised.
I just had to laugh. I wouldn't be laughing if he didn't make it to the toilet to do his business. He made it though, it was a success.

February Vermont visit....

Watching dry ice drop into water at the science museum. We all really liked it. Sometimes it would jump and spin like crazy. Reminds me of dry ice bombs in Hawaii....good times....
After a long day of play, they all needed a bath....
Sledding at Adams Hill Road
On a date....

So... maybe we should use stonyfield....

My parents sent me this link. It is my Dad's cousin Spud, Lyle Edwards who is a dairy farmer that sells his milk to stonyfield organics. It is just kinda neat. Educational.

February....

We don't really have a hill in our yard. We slide down the slide, that is our sledding hill. It is fun. The kids get really creative going down. They would build up a wall of snow, then smash it. They are some cuties.
It is the end of the month we love the snow.... but we are thinking about spring. Soon.....

Santa came to town

We went and visited Santa in the town green. Wilton had the lighting of the down town with the light polls, the gazeebo and trees. Santa rode up in a firetruck while the school band played Christmas carols. It was fun. Levi got lost once. Ezekiel found some preschool friends and was running all over the place. Adelaide stayed in the stroller and kept our place in line while I ran after the kids. It was nice and chilly. Perfect for this time of year!
Ezekiel told Santa that he wanted a remote control car. Levi was more interested in the candycane. Adelaide just wanted to go home.
Later when we were home... Ezekiel produced a tattered already used envelope(way to recycle). Inside was a piece of paper with drawings on both sides. It ws Ezekiel's "Santa letter". I didn't even know. One side is a drawing of a dinosaur, car, and a remote control. The other side is a drawing of a bike with four wheels and him sitting on it. So... Apparently he wants a remote control car that turns into a remote control dinosaur. The other side is a bike with training wheels. I tried to tell him that the dinosaur is a little too much and that he already told Santa that he wanted a remote control car.

Then he told me..."Mom, Santa can make anything. He has magic dust that can do anything. Don't worry."

The faith and imagination of a four year old. What are we going to do. ? I think he is getting a remote control car driven by a dinosaur. The bike will have to happen for a birthday...I think.
